The first time I saw Jesus on a bus...
Tajah Russell
Today was a great day! Yesterday i had been up since 4 o’clock in the morning and I went to bed about 11 or 12 o’clock last night. So today we had to wake up super early for breakfast. Breakfast was cool. We had some cereal with a ham and cheese sandwich and some juice, sounds weird but it was good.
So today we kind of did a tour around San Jose, Costa Rica for like three hours. Usually I would complain but there were a lot of interesting things that I saw that I don’t normally get to see. For example I saw a building, an elementary school, that is made of metal and I don’t get to see to see that in Pittsburgh. Then after that we had lunch…it was very good, they had steak with rice and beans with pasta and salad. Then we had to get back for the Epsy Campbell interview which was also great. When she stated on she wanted to eliminate all aspects of discrimination, I thought that she really wanted equality throughout Costa Rica.
After that we went to a local high school to meet some kids our age. and i thought it was interesting because the school was outside and like dogs were just walking around without a leash. The best part today was meeting the Tico students. We played soccer and basketball. I also figured out there favorite American musician was the Game and I thought that was neat because I listen to him.
On the way saw Jesus Christ on a bus and I yelled I saw Jesus! And in Pittsburgh Jesus is not on any busses that I know. I don’t know why he was there but if I would take a guess I would I would think since he is on the bus more people would feel safe because of his face being on a bus.
